Morris is our home county. Irina Fain, the founder of Fain's Private Duty Home Care, chose Mount Olive as our first promoted location for concrete operational reasons. Mount Olive sits in the western half of the county, inside a caregiver labor market that runs from Denville through Randolph and Parsippany down to Chester and Chatham, and within reasonable reach of the Morris towns that need us most. Morris also has one of the strongest hospital anchors in northern New Jersey, which shapes the discharge pipeline that most of our early cases will flow from.
The families we are preparing to serve in Morris are recognizable to anyone who has lived here. A daughter in Morristown coordinating care for a mother in Randolph who was just discharged with a new oxygen setup. Saint Clare's Denville is the second-largest discharge origin in Morris, particularly for behavioral health and orthopedic cases from the western part of the county. Parsippany, Denville, and Randolph are in the middle band. They pull toward Morristown Med for acute events and Saint Clare's Denville for shorter-stay cases. Caregiver availability in this band is the strongest in the county because Parsippany has one of the largest caregiver labor pools in northern NJ.
Mount Olive, Chester, Long Valley, and the far-western Morris towns like Mount Arlington and Netcong are further from the hospital cluster. This is exactly why we chose Mount Olive as our first promoted location. If we can staff Mount Olive well, we can staff the harder-to-reach western half of the county, and the eastern half is easier from there.
